I would have to agree with you on that one. I was at an arean football game tons of empty seats, but still they said it was sold out. They must include the season ticket sales.

The NFL lies about ticket sales. It's what they do. I believe the theory is that, if they tell everyone there's no availability, suddenly everyone will be clamoring to ticket brokers for what they've been told they can't have, and then the game really does sell out after all. Too bad this backfires more often than not.

It’s as if we’re not able to make noise or create atmosphere without being prompted like five-year-olds learning basic addition.

As a diehard Spurs fan, I couldn't have put it better myself!

You can probably get a couple of bucks back by selling our ticket stub on eBay...

I'm sure die hard American Giants and Dolphins fans will fight over it. Probably the best action you will have witnessed with your investment...

American Football (as well as Ice Hockey) is indeed in a sad state due to advertisements. I was a big fan of both sports in the 80's and can assure you they were indeed sports. All the stopage time and hanging around waiting for the ads to finish before they can resume play is what currently makes it interminable. I gave up on both sports sometime in mid-90's when it all changed. I am not sure why the corporate execs don't understand why they can't make US Football popular here. Life's too short.

Fraser I'm questioning you referring to American Football as a "sport". I'm still not convinced.
