moomin spam

I get a lot of spam, and I mean a lot. On average it’s between three and four hundred items per day, selling the usual combination of lose weight quick, gain penis size even faster, increase your sexual potency before buying property in Vermont, hit the delete button nonsense. Today, however, was different. The e-mail arrived. I clicked the link. Two minutes later the purchase was made, and I’ll shortly be the proud owner of Moomin Voices, the first recorded collection of the entire Moomin songbook. With narration! In Finnish! Genius, I tell you!

inspired.
sort of like the mysterious voices of bulgaria for children… only scarier.

whoah.

/can’t get credit card out of pocket quickly enough/

Any news on the Button Moon Anthology?

took a listen, thanks, now the kids have something else to sing and drive me crazy

My God! Spam that is actually of any interest at all….. this has got to be a first! Mine is usually a mixture of get rich quick schemes and sex enhancements. Fortunately having a yahoo e-mail address seems to keep quite a bit of it away, unlike hotmail. I’m a little bit tricky about my e-mail address too, typing it as yahoo@jarbury.com everywhere. That seems to keep away lots of it.

The only thing I find more annoying than spam is the seemingly infinite number of pop-up ads that crowd my screen when I click on a link.
